Please remove the link from the iGuide logo in the upper right corner of an iGuide

That is interesting, Evan. When I asked last week during the onboarding call, they stated that this was not possible. You would still see www.myiguide.com/xxxx, where xxxx could be customized.
A branded URL is nice but not my main concern. As I share the tour offline the logo and link are my main concern.

I know it’s not the problem at hand. However, being told myself that you cannot do what I did. It is possible. I know the branding is still there. I’ve already made my points on my proposal. That’s something they’ll have to do on their end to make the rest of it work.

Sharing for those who aren’t aware of what you can do. :relaxed:

MLS® no. T10406058 is in non-compliance with respect to MLS® Rule R-106. Action must be taken to be in compliance with this Rule and, pursuant to the DIS Policy, must be corrected within two (2) business days.

Should you fail to take corrective action as outlined above, the matter will be referred Professional Standards Roster who, in accordance with Schedule “D” of the TRREB By-Law, may levy penalties of up to $50,000 for a breach of the MLS® Rules. For your information, terminating the subject Listing will not be compliant and, in addition to Professional Standards sanctions, may require the imposition of a correction fee.

I would think we are all in non compliance and subject to problems. We just haven’t been caught yet! IGUIDE HOW ARE YOU GOING TO HANDLE THIS!

Is it possible you posted the “Branded” version instead of the “Unbranded” version?

Are you certain that the issue is the iGuide logo or link itself and not a branded version of the iGuide (with the operator’s pano branding graphic)?

In my area, the location board this year began clamping down on any collateral with logos on MLS (e.g. floorplans with the iGuide logo because realtors uploaded the branded versions), but in my communications with them they said the rules did not apply as stringently to virtual tours.

It’s in both branded and non branded,

I Am Trying to have them provide me with the exact issue … but cant seem to get a response…the email canned response is quite clear in my opinion any link that is not about the property …Iquide logo…

I am a realtor with 2 camera’s only for my personal use and commercial clients. Royal LePage logo is the operator’s pano branding not sure if that is the issue (no link) or the iquide with the link

I’d be picking up the phone stat and getting clarification from a compliance officer.

I just received a response from Iguide. At this time they are unable to remove the logo.

Thanks, Audrey. Did you ask about the link on the logo?

I did and I sent a separate message about that and haven’t had a response yet. I think we need to contact Iguide in person and visit with someone other than support: Maybe escalate this to higher up’s?

This is how it needs to be done.

Aside from the logo in the tour, in the very least the cost calculator should be moved into the portal and not shown on a public website.

One of the customer success managers is fully aware of it and has filed a report. Given many of their customers’ responses, I think they would address it here.

We at Planitar are proud of the products we designed - iGUIDE Viewer, our camera systems and floor plans we draft and we want the world to know it is the iGUIDE technology by displaying our branding. The unique features of floor plan on the left and synchronized visuals on the right along with flexible tour navigation options were pioneered by Planitar in real estate.

We understand the desire of some customers to keep our technology as their trade secret, but as a technology provider, our goal is to grow our business to make iGUIDE an industry standard for property documentation. For this reason we have the online store where iGUIDE cameras can be purchased by anyone and as the provider of data processing services for those cameras, we also want to be transparent about our pricing to any potential customer. The technology provider model is different from the franchise model - we do not offer territories or exclusivity, but also do not charge franchise or marketing fees.
