Thanks Alex. I realized afterwards that my quick-release had unscrewed and so the camera was flopping around! I will give the replace pano a go (lots of first-times with this project).

I’ve had quick-release plates loosen a couple of times now. I made a point of cranking it tight with pliers every so often to avoid that happening. (You can always keep a mini multi-tool like a Leatherman in your iGuide case.)
