What should i quote?

I have a senior living complex that wants an iguide. main building is 57,902. The total for the WDS campus is 16,945.

What should i quote and what experience does anyone have of doing this size of property?

I have used chatgpt to get price estimates of your location. I would recommend that option.

Thank you!

Can iGUIDE produce a floor plan from a partially scanned property? The senior living facility i can not access actually units so need a 3D tour and floor plan just of common areas

Hello! Our drafting team creates the 3D tour and floor plan based on the laser data you submit. If you only provide laser data for the common areas, hallways, and similar spaces, those will be the only areas included in the final draft.

I hope this helps but if you have any further questions, you can reach out to our support team and we would be happy to assist!

I have done a partial interior, but to get a good representation of the building, you would need to scan the exterior as well. But let me ask what the purpose of the iGuide is?

Thanks Ashley, this is primarily to for a virtual tour so potential clients can ‘tour the building’ The Actual dimensions, floor plan are not important. But if i scan the exterior will this create a rough floor plan?

To show clients the layout and give them a virtual tour of common areas

A standard tour would give them the 2D floor plan in PDF from the details section. As you are not creating CAD drawings or 3D models in CAD or Revit, missing the rooms is not a problem.
I will let Ashley confirm, but if you have the interior lidar data, you don’t need the exterior to get a floor plan.

Unfortunately, adding exterior scans will not create a rough floor plan, as iGUIDE requires interior scans to capture the each space and generate an accurate floor plan for that area. Since you are unable to scan the individual units, the floorplan will only represent the areas that have been scanned.

If your goal is to create a smooth, connected walkthrough of the building’s common areas, I recommend also scanning any hallways or connectors between those spaces. This helps the virtual tour feel cohesive and allows viewers to move naturally from one area to the next.
