Theta z1 now has update for HDR raw. will this be used in future with Iguide?

I just found out that the Theta z1 is now doing HDR Raw with a recent update. Will Iguide use this new mode for their system eventually?.. Also, i am wondering, if i update my Theta camera, will that screw up compatibility with the iguide?
