This must be the dumbest thing I have ever had to do. Why? Who is trying to hack my iguide account and steal all my iguides? Are they going to pay my monthly bill for me? Are they going to lock my sold iguides for me?
This is so stupid, and one more hoop to jump through for absolutely no reason.
True, yet another additional step which isn’t really necessary
Online security is a moving target, so the world is moving to MFA and passkeys. There are plenty of good reasons for this.
To be blunt, the comment that it’s “not really necessary” shows a lack of understanding of the topic. I’m sure we would all be annoyed if a breach of Planitar’s systems affected our businesses.
I just hope that Planitar implements this with a balanced approach of allowing trusted devices, so that we don’t have to jump through MFA with each login.
