Hi all, I’ve been working with iGUIDE for a project where I include custom labels and notes inside the tour, and I’ve run into something odd when dealing with numeric values.
In a few cases I’ve had to include sample financial info in overlays for demonstration purposes, like showing a mock account balance similar to what you’d see in something like National Bank of Abu Dhabi interfaces. The issue is that when I update those numbers, especially after duplicating or editing existing tags, the displayed value doesn’t always refresh properly in the final view.
Sometimes it keeps showing the older number even though I’ve saved the changes, and other times it updates in one view but not another. It’s not happening with regular text as much, mostly noticeable with numbers.
I’m trying to figure out if this is some kind of caching delay or if I’m missing a step when updating tags. Has anyone else experienced inconsistent updates with numeric overlays or labels in iGUIDE?
