Background: Most times I forget to emphatically state it in NOTES (and sometimes when I do) the interior area of DETACHED garages, shops and other outbuildings get marked as EXCLUDED; causing me to put in a support ticket and delaying the final results of the iGUIDE Report.
Drafters are used to excluding the interior area of attached garages, which makes sense. When the garage is detached we end-up paying for it to be drafted but we end-up looking at a report that says the garage is (for example) 47 sq ft (wall length x wall thickness) rather than 500 sq ft. I’d like to see drafters instructed to ALWAYS include the interior area of out-buildings.
This is a no lose proposition since operators and editors can mark any unwanted spaces as “unfinished” but we can’t include space which the drafters have marked as “excluded.” This will save our support reps a lot of unnecessary support tickets!
