I’ve noticed that Metric DXFs are available but not Imperial.
Is there a reason for this?
I’ve just been creating a bid on mapping all the municipal buildings in my home town. They have asked for samples of dxf files and they wanted metric. I sent some samples along, but I was curious to see what those files look like? Black and white? Colour? Any detail drafted into them (toilets, etc.)?
Anyone know of some free software that could view dxf files?
Lots of free dxf viewers online. The detail in the dxf files from Planitar are not the same as what is delivered in the other file formats. (no windows, doors, etc)
Thanks, that looks much different than I expected. I guess if you were an engineer or architect you might get excited about that. The PDF’s have more value to me.
