I came across this page while doing research the other day? Is this what our tours will look like once produced? Is this part of the beta production? Are there any tours that have been uploaded in since the Beta was launched that we could take a look at it?
If so, this is very exciting.
This is Google’s Indoor Maps product. It is a different product from Street View. It has been around in beta for a while now (3-4 years?). Google is interested in floor plans for airports, stadiums, malls. Similar to Street View, that content can be uploaded by users or created by Google teams. Read the page you found for more info. Getting floor plans uploaded when doing Street View export is not supported by Google now, but who knows what the future may bring.
That Bill Gates mantra is why I use Apple, not that Apple products are perfect but the countless hours wasted trying to make Windows work in the early days turned me off that OS
