Floor to ceiling measurements from vertical scans

I found an old 2023 discussion about this that has not been updated so I am starting a-fresh.

I have a client who needs interior floor to ceiling measurements.

Given we now do vertical scans for the 3D CAD package, has iGUIDE implemented a way to provide floor to ceiling interior measurements in the report?

For others wondering, you can get this data in a few different ways today.

  • Point cloud DXF file, assuming you captured vertical scans of the desired elements (available with Radix iGUIDE, DWG Add-on, or 2D and 3D Packages)
  • RVT file, requires complete vertical scans of the project (available with the RVT Add-On and 3D packages)
