Brokerage/ Agency Group Management

Currently, I can not find any option to create and manage the information for Brokerage or Agency Groups collectively.

This can be a substantial administrative problem when a group relocated to a new office or changes their phone number.

As it stands, I have 6 pages of client banners that belong to a single brokerage (26 agents in the group) with more coming. They moved their office to a new location and now I have to do the following steps for every banner to update 1 piece of information:

1. Search for the agency name in the Banner Management;
2. Locate the next agent in line to update their banner;
3. Paste the updated address in the banner & save;
4. Repeat all 3 steps for the first 5 agents;
5. After agent #5, I need to add the steps of clicking through pages to achieve step #2;

26 times over and over again…

I know it might be considered petty, but the only way to adequately illustrate the administrative overhead of this problem is to share what the process looks like for this ONE brokerage address update of just 26 agents:

1. Agent 01: 1. Search for the agency name in the Banner Management;
2. 2. Locate the next agent in line to update their banner;
3. 3. Paste the updated address in the banner & save;
4. 4. Return to the search and start over (it doesn’t bring you back to where you left off);
5. Agent 02: 1. Search for the agency name in the Banner Management;
6. 2. Locate the next agent in line to update their banner;
7. 3. Paste the updated address in the banner & save;
8. 4. Return to the search and start over (it doesn’t bring you back to where you left off);
9. Agent 03: 1. Search for the agency name in the Banner Management;
10. 2. Locate the next agent in line to update their banner;
11. 3. Paste the updated address in the banner & save;

125. 5. Try to not be upset with the fact that a considerable amount of valuable time was spent doing 1 thing;

It would be kind at best to say that the 125 step process to change 1 element of information is a bit ridiculous. It could be worse, I could have all 460 agents of this brokerage as clients to update… Wanna see what that process looks like? nope.

Add to this that I have 2 other brokerage groups that have also moved their offices, which adds over 15 more agents to this process.

A solution to this would be to create the option for GROUPS where the Group Information is separate from the Agent information. Agents are assigned to their relative Group and the Group Information is added to the Agent Banner as a result. I currently use a marketing platform that employs this and it works quite efficiently. Updating the Group Information would subsequently update all of the Agent Banners belonging to that group with a few clicks, 1 address entry, and inside of 30 seconds.

With Group Administration, the new process would look like this for ALL 26 agents of that brokerage:

Group 01:

1. Search for the agency name in the Group Management;
2. Locate the Group to update their banner;
3. Enter the updated address & save;

Done and done. #JustSayin

This would increase the overall value of the iGUIDE SAAS and benefit EVERY operator that encounters this task while significantly reducing the window of opportunity for errors that need to be hunted down and corrected.

When I needed an extra explanation of multiple questions I did receive a call from iGuide support so some queries are handled outside of the forum. That might not be the case here but…

I think it is a great idea. Making simple changes that have a high impact on productivity benefits all involved including iGuide. It all adds up to a higher production of iGuides. More is good.

If we are talking productivity enhancements with the current apps, What about defaulting to laser ON in survey. As iGuides own lessons say, this should almost always be on. Why not set it for the most used option??? Mystery to me.

Likewise, I’d like the coverage option to default to on. The first thing I do at every shoot is turn on the laser and turn on the coverage option. It would save a bit of time on every shoot if those defaulted to on.

it would also be great to be able to automatically send any new (unbranded) iGUIDEs that belong to that group, TO that group so they could present to their buyers…
