We’ve received responses from several locations, and I’m excited to share that the following territories are now taken:
Calgary, Alberta
Peterborough, Ontario
Ottawa, Ontario
Milano, Italy
Kitchener, Ontario
Bathurst, New Brunswick
*Fredericton, New Brunswick
*Moncton, New Brunswick
If you’d like to claim a territory, you must fill out the form that was sent out on this forum last week. Territories are assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.
This week, we’ve successfully completed BOMA measurements in two locations in Moncton, New Brunswick. I will share the outcomes with the businesses that have signed up so far—it’s a straightforward process!
As an introductory price, we’re charging $249 per unit for the report. Please note this price does not include your Planitar processing fee. Additionally, our drafter may be able to work with a Radix file if available (this would certanly boost your markup! Currently, we’re generating AutoCAD DWG files for these projects.
Based on our research, you can retail these reports between $500 and $1,000, offering great value for the service.
We’re also in the process of drafting a detailed procedure for this—stay tuned for updates!
Thank you for your continued interest and enthusiasm. Let’s keep the momentum going!
It’s basically a new service that can be offered anywhere in North America. We have a drafter here that will analyze you data and generate a BOMA Standard report for commercial leasing pusposes. However, we already have someone in Calgary that has partnered up with us for that region
Dan, I am in Tampa, Florida. Are the leasing communities holding to these standards in the United States? Granted, I am more into the commercial design of food service venues for theme parks, but I’m interested in the market indications for my area. I can say I have not heard mention of this global standard from any of the realtors I know.
I’ve done a few projects (7 to date) for architects and wanting to learn more about this potential opportunity. I actually just had a potential client ask about BOMA measurements. How is this different from what iGuide gives us?
If there’s an opportunity to create these services in my area. How are you charging for this report? Is it based on square footage? Do you have a sample you can share so I can understand this process?
Any information you can share is greatly appreciated.
Hey Paul, currently charging per unit not sqft. I would suggest to check with your BOMA Chapter to see if someone is currently offering this. Our research shows that these reports retail betweek $500 to $1000. This would not include the processing that you pay Planitar.
The difference between these reports is the what you will get from us is a BOMA Compliant report.
