Application questions

On exterior elevations, how high can we capture from the ground? Are midrise and above possible? Also, has vertical scanning been eliminated, or is it still necessary to capture ceiling heights and details?
Thank you in advance for the information,

Hi Mark,

Thank you for reaching out!

iGUIDE’s exterior elevation capture is primarily designed for standard two-storey residential and commercial buildings. While vertical scans are optional, we highly recommend including them to ensure the most accurate and complete results.

We have a helpful article in our Help Center that outlines advanced techniques for capturing exterior elevations, including best practices. You can check it out here: Advanced iGUIDE Capture Techniques

Hi Ashley, are there any explanatory videos on elevation surveying? Thanks.

Hi Vittorio,

We have a recorded webinar, Masterclass: Utilizing iGUIDE to deliver elevation drawings, that provides an in-depth discussion of the iGUIDE capture process and data alignment. This session is a great resource for both new and experienced operators looking to deepen their understanding of how to efficiently capture and process data using the iGUIDE system.

Please note that the pricing and packages information mentioned in the video is now outdated, as we’ve recently updated our Advanced Drafting Services to better support our operators. For the most current details on pricing and package options, please see this article.

Thanks Ashley
