My understanding is that right now analytics data is compiled per view. That’s perfect for many circumstances.
However, in some cases (like one that I’m working on right now), combining analytics data for all views is necessary to show a client the totality of traffic reaching the multiple iGuide views – and therefore helping to show the value of the service. Right now they’ll need to mentally add analytics numbers from the views to have a complete picture of traffic. That’s a hassle for them that could be avoided with an amalgamated analytics report.
